After searching with the ingredients I've found this recipe on the forum Tamen Recettes.qc.ca, exactly as I wanted, adding the potato gives a lovely texture, more need to search for it is this that I will in the future! Excellent!

450 grams of peas 2 cups = 10 cups
cold water 1 ham bone with some meat
1 onion, chopped 1 cup leeks
finely chopped 1 carrot, cut into
very small cubes 2 
formwork and celery
chopped leaves 1 / 4 c. savory tea and / or 1 tablespoon ground sage savory herb soup formwork and celery 
1 large potato Salt and pepper to taste Wash peas and soak for 8 hours in 4 cups of cold water.
Discard water and rinse.
Add 10 cups water, ham, onion, celery, carrots, savory, pepper and potato.
Cook 3 hours.
The addition of potato soup gives more consistent.
1 hour before end of cooking salt to taste with salt and herbs.
When ready remove the potato.
