Checkerboard Cookies

These cookie intrigued me when I saw them at
Lesgourmandisesd'isa
after I have a few questions come to understand, say that I would not argue with somebody making the recipe I had to concentrate, they are really worth, I invite you to take a look at Isa's blog to see beautiful pictures! plus they are exquisite. For more details read the comments on the blog isa. Makes about 2 dozen 1 / 2 biscuits 2 cups (250 g) flour 2 egg yolks


In food processor fitted with the blade, knead the flour, egg yolks, butter, sugar and vanilla until dough is smooth.
Divide dough into 3 equal parts and knead 1 / 3 with cocoa until smooth.

3 pieces of dough and set aside 30 minutes in refrigerator. Lower 1 / 3 of batter into a rectangle 32 cm long by 20 cm wide. Lower
the other 1 / 3 of batter into a rectangle 8 cm wide and 20 cm long and 1 cm thick.
Repeat with 1 / 3 of dough with cocoa.

In each rectangle of dough 1 cm thick, cut 8 strips of dough to 1 cm in width.
